Ireland’s of Cairns has launched a new campaign to encourage customers to shop locally in Cairns in the lead-up to the festive season.
Businesses in our Cairns community are often friends, family members, neighbours or someone you know from the kids’ soccer or swimming club.
By supporting these local businesses, you are helping them to employ local staff and contractors and to use
the services of other businesses in the community, keeping the cash in the region and providing better services for everyone.
In the spirit of facilitating a circular economy this Christmas, Ireland’s of Cairns has launched a new campaign to encourage customers to shop locally in the lead-up to the festive season.
Throughout December, any customer who purchases a new or used vehicle from Ireland’s will have the opportunity to win a prize off the Spin to Win wheel, loaded with exceptional prizes from local Cairns businesses.
Prizes on the Spin to Win wheel range from a Christmas ham valued at $50 from Cairns Bulk Meats, a $250 gift voucher at Turners Home Appliances, a family annual pass to the CaPTA Group (including the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas, Cairns Zoom, and both the Butterfly Sanctuary and Rainforestation in Kuranda) valued at $260, and a free window tint from Ireland’s valued at $695.
Ireland’s Managing Director David Ireland said it was imperative to make sure we shop local as much as we can, and especially this Christmas.
“Almost every community and business in the country will have experienced challenging times to some degree these last 18 months. We’re working together with other local Cairns businesses to actively support each other and cross-promote their businesses, and to reward our customers.
“An integral part of our business is our customers and our community, and one of our key focus points is our relationship with them. We work hard to ensure that our team can, and do, fulfil our commitments to them.
“Ireland’s wants to support businesses and local spending this Christmas by running the Spin to Win Campaign. The winners will receive a nice little Christmas bonus. And who doesn’t want that?”
The Ireland surname is synonymous with great service and quality automotive products in Far North Queensland.
Established in 1923, Ireland’s of Cairns has been servicing the region for almost a century. They are proudly owned and operated by a family of Cairns locals, who have now been in the city for six generations, meaning they understand the region and the needs of the local Cairns community.
